The Sky Theater is the perfect place for field trips and other private events for school age children and adults. If you would like to make a reservation for a private event, please read the information below carefully.

What's Included?

A visit to the Sky Theater consists of three parts:

    *   An immersive, full-dome experience, featuring

         a show of your choice from our Show Library.

    *   A guided tour of the night sky.

    *   A question and answer session.

 

How much does it cost?

Events during normal business hours (M-F, 8-5):

    *   Group with less than 35 individuals = $100.

    *   Group with 35+ individuals = $3 per person.

After normal business hours/Weekends:

    *   Group with less than 50 individuals = $150.

    *   Group with 50+ individuals = $3 per person.

 

NOTE: The Sky Theater has a maximum capacity of 100. If your group is larger, arrangements for separate shows will need to be made. The program lasts approximately one hour, so please allot one hour per group if it is necessary to split up your shows.

 

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made by calling our Astronomy Coordinator at (940) 369-8213, or sending as email to skytheater@unt.edu.

 

You are encouraged to register as far in advance as possible. We require AT LEAST 2 weeks notice for all reservations.

 

Before making a reservation, please have the following information handy:

    *   Your organization, contact name, email

         address, fax number, and phone numbers

         where you can be reached.

    *   Age level and the total number that will be

        attending

    *   Title of program requested (see Show Library)

    *   Preferred date and time

    *   At least one alternate date and time
